With the announcement last week of extended hours at the Archives of Ontario there comes a catch. The availability of extended hours is only for a five-month trial period. The Archives will then evaluate the extended service.The Archives requires each visitor to register at the front desk, thus tracking the number of daily visitors and the time of each visit.
How does this affect you?
If you want better access to the Archives of Ontario, especially evening hours and Saturdays, then you need to vote with your feet. Be sure to visit the Archives of Ontario, especially within the extended hours.
