Expanding My Cranium

There is always something to learn in the field of genealogy. How do you learn the methodology, or where the land records are kept, or how to build your business?
Sometimes you have to go back to school.

One terrific opportunity genealogists can take advantage of is IGHR at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I am here at IGHR 2011 this week expanding my cranium with knowledge about professional genealogy. Guess what? I'm not alone. There are 300 other genealogists here on campus taking a variety of courses, networking, learning and expanding their knowledge about family history.

How do you expand your cranium about family history?
