 Kathryn Lake Hogan is known for her fun and dynamic  style as a professional genealogist, author, educator and speaker. 

Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and the National Institute of Genealogical Studies, having earned three Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies in methodology, Canadian, and English research. Kathryn is the Canadian research virtual chat host/coordinator with the Institute. 

She is a past Director-at-Large with the Association of Professional Genealogists, and is the past Dominion Genealogist of the United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada. 
A native of Ontario, Canada, Kathryn has deep roots in Canada through her Loyalist lineage, as well as ancestry in New England, England and Wales. 

Kathryn is the author of Digging Your Canadian Roots, as well as numerous mini-guides featuring Canadian research topics.
